Cut from the cow’s carcass, filet mignon is a type of steak cut that is known to be the king of steaks. This cut of meat is one of our most tender mail order steaks. This cut is available to our customers because it is derived from an area of the animal that isn’t weight-bearing enough to create meat that is toughened. Filet mignon cuts are typically no more than 1-inch thick and usually naturally rounded.

Using only superior and reliable genetics in our herd, we’re able to breed for multi-trait excellence and consistently produce the highest-quality cuts. Only 7 percent of all Prime Black Angus beef produced in the country is rated prime. We’re proud that Huwa Prime Black Angus beef is consistently rated 8-10 times higher than that percentage.
